The Walsingham Horseman’s Association promotes the safe recreational use of horses.

The main gate (trailer access) to our 50+ acre riding park is on the South side of 102nd Ave., East of 131st St. in Seminole, Florida.  There is also a trail on the North side of 102nd (known as the “safe trail”) that follows alongside Walsingham Park. The key that you are given upon joining will open all of the gates to the main park and safe trail.

The gates are located at:
96th Ave. (East off 131st St. at dead end)
106th Ave. (East off 131st St. at dead end)
110th Ave. (East off 131st St./South side of Rd.)
114th Ave. (East off 131st St./South side of Rd.)
125th St. (West Side at about 96th Ave.)
125th St. (West of Sun Catch Stable, North side of ditch)

These gates are for ride-ups only.  Trailers must use the main gate on 102nd Ave., discussed above.

Hurricane Information

Disaster Animal Response Team (Bay Area DART)

Walsingham Park is the designated shelter for horses.  Listen to your local radio and TV stations for notification by Pinellas County Animal Services Dept. as to when the shelter will be open. County employees will be there to assist you.  Please mark your horse's halter with your name and telephone number.  The County personnel will inspect your current Coggins and Rabies forms, which are also considered proof of ownership.  Note that neither the park or the trail fences are in good shape, there are several gaps that the horses can get through to the road.  When horses are turned out, you do so at your own risk, absolutely NO Stallions allowed for obvious reasons.

Some in-state and out-of-state options are the Spirit of Suwanee Music and Horse Park in Live Oak, FL, the GA horse facility in Conyers, GA (near Atlanta), Hard Labor Park in GA, Lakeside Plantation in South Carolina.  All accept hurricane evacuees.  Note you will need Coggins as well as a current Health Certificate from the Vet to get and in and out of states.

Important Member Information

WHA meetings are the first Monday of each month  at Joan Harrell's house (7:30 PM).   The  meetings are open to all members, except in February when the Board elects it's Officers.

Please call or email to  RSVP so we'll be sure to have enough food & beverages.

Also, we thought it wise to remind you that our horse park is full of nature! Lately, the nature that has been affecting us most is Rattlesnakes.  The population seems to have exploded.

Of course, we still have the Gopher Tortoises with their dens in the area of the round pens.  Please watch your step, wherever you ride.

STOP COLIC IN IT'S TRACKS !!! Call Amber Glen and get a bottle of ECR to keep in your barn. 727-547-8495  Click to learn more.
HOW DOES ECR END A NORMAL BOUT OF COLIC?

ECR is administered orally using a large syringe (provided). As it is ingested and integrated by the body, each component affects and eliminates one cause of colic which can be:

1.  Lack of enough water causes Dehydration of the soft bowel muscles which causes loss of the Ionic Solutions, which exist only in fluid, that produce conductive energy within the cells of the soft muscles lining the bowels, causing Motility to slow or go into a state of stasis.

2.  Ingesta (Clinical term for food that's being processed) stops moving forward and forms an impaction which causes fermentation of fecal matter. Fermentation gives off methane gas, which causes the gorged bowel to expand outward, crushing, trapping and cutting off the blood supply to adjoining organs. This process causes pain and begins a bout of Colic.

The 4 parts and their processes effect and eliminate each cause by working with the body by;

1.  Hydrating the bowel by drawing in excess fluid from water stored in the body affecting and eliminating the cause of dehydration.

2.  Replacing Ionic Solutions found in the formula, after the bowel is fully hydrated, affecting and eliminating the cause of no motility by recharging the soft muscle layers lining the bowels.  Within 10-30 minutes bowel motility is restored .

3.  Dissolving any feces or ingesta to a pudding-like consistency, without harming any bowel tissue, from the beginning of the small intestines to the impaction and through the rest of the colon.

4.  Dissipating the methane gas, which relieves the pressure within the distended bowels.  This returns both the bowels and trapped organs to a normal state. The body then proceeds to naturally expel the gas and softened feces, ending the Colic within a consistent time of 45 to 200 minutes.
The ingredients in Equine Colic Relief Formula are; Liquid Calcium, Potassium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Vegetable Glycerine,
Peppermint Oil and Vitamin D3 (to restore Ionic Solutions, Hydrate the bowel and dissipate gas). Freshly harvested and Liquidated Baltic Sea Kelp and Irish Moss (to dissolve an impaction and any feces in the bowel) a little Sorbitol to sweeten, Molasses for Flavor and a few drops of purified water are what comprises it.  It is a natural ingredient, non-pharmaceutical that was tested for 3 years before being released first in Canada in 1999, Europe and Scandinavian countries in 2001, the United States in 2003 and Mexico and Australia in 2009.

Colic can be stopped in as little as 45 minutes, and for Sand Colic, a maximum of 200 minutes.

It has never failed to Return Bowel Motility within 10-30 minutes and has never failed, even while being tested from 1996-1999 to stop a Normal Bout of Colic in any size, breed or age horse.

It is Trusted by Thousands of horse owners around the World. ECR effectively and safely ends Colic, without causing side effects, trauma, stress or pain.

It returns a horse to immediate good health. Horses test clean of drugs for show and race purposes, and many have returned to compete, healthy and sound, less than 1 hour, after their bout ended.

ECR was developed using natural homeopathic ingredients.
